Returning to one of my favourite themes ... the way ahead, whose destination is the Father's house, but where from here to there? (Click here or on the icon for an animation - about 600K, Requires Flash Player 8)
I know that I am called
The message was quite clear
and yet I cannot see the how, the why.
I feel so small, so weak
so ill-equipped for such a task.
And yet I am prepared to say YES
and undertake the risk
and enter the unknown,
Responding to the call,
Trustfully treading my way
the only way that leads to life - to HIM.
(Sr. Theresa Margaret)

I just found your blog through Yes Minister, and am very moved by your thoughs and insight.I do not know how to link your blog, but I am going to quote the The Road Ahead in mine if that's o.k. and sometime will learn more of the secrets to linking . Thanks and Bless you!

Lord, You hav always marked
the road for the coming day;
and though it may be hidden,
today I believe
...
Lord, You have always spoken
when time was ripe;
and though you be silent now,
today I believe.
some words you'll remember for your stay at Northumbria Community

I remember those words well - I've introduced a few others to them too!

The last words of the animation connect with the song by U2 - very applicable - (or indeed, fitting your context, the songwords 'walk on with hope in your heart'). Thanks for this too.
