Four new images, all with a kind of theme of fire\energy. They are built out of images created with the amazing Context Free software (free download!). Clockwise from the top left they are entitled "Energy Field", "Bomb Run" (what does it look like to you? I'd love to know), "Burning Bush" (Back to my favourite theme of fiery encounters with God) and "Neuron".
My favourite one is the burning bush - it comes out of a place of long-term weariness in which I am longing for a fresh encounter with God, to gather up everything that I am, and send me off with fresh energy and direction. The thing I love about the burning bush encounter was that it was so ordinary, and so unexpected, and so transforming ...

There seem to be several in the blogosphere who are weary and struggling at the moment.
Do pop over to my place; I've just posted some song words called "Crowded Now", I wonder if they catch your moment?

Ex 3 is one of my favourite passages in the Bible! It's carried so much meaning. Each of us can expect to have a similar encounter with God in the mundane of everyday life, and what's more it is my belief it can happen again and again.
My prayers for the weariness and the struggle right now. God is right with you - even if He seems light years away.

Stunning images...re-energising in themselves, imho. Thanks for posting them...and prayers while you wait for God.

hi richard,
i'd really like to use the burning bush image in worship this week - any chance of being able to get a higher resolution version? It's fabulous.
