Some people get to go and see them live. I'll have to settle for the book ... much-blogged about and quoted, it's become a must-read.
I found it half price in the local supermarket, and bought it as a birthday present for myself, now that I'm halfway to heaven (work it out!).
Maybe this book is Bono's kind of blog, collected in a hard cover, and not on a screen. In his Foreword (which is as far as I've got as I only finished "Life of Pi" yesterday) he describes the book as an "opportunity to look back into the house of my various lives and tidy my room".
Much like your average blog?

Hi Richard, I've also recently purchased Bono's book - £9.96 in Asda, bargain! Should be an interesting read.
Trinity's new Principal is George Kovoor, btw.

Mine was in Asda too ... Would be interested to hear how things go at Trinity with all the recent changes. Hope things are going well!

I think a little visit to Asda is in order now!
I've seen a couple of quotes floating around on various blogs for a while now.. if i can find that deal, I think this would be well worth the few quid spent on it :o)
a little bit of (possibily not so) light summer reading..

I've only skimmed through it, but it looks like a good read - lots of quotable quotes, but also unusual ways of looking at things ...

£7.99 in the Northern Ireland equivalent of WH Smith (Easons)
Well chuffed!
Looking forward to hearing any more thoughts you have on it.. I've liked what i've read so far (admittedly only the fist chapter though!)
